Evaluation-Evaluation Survey

In order to get feedback from our target audience we are using a variety of methods including audience interviews, audience feedback and evaluation surveys. In order to create the survey we are using a web application called SurveyMonkey.

SurveyMonkey allows us to create surveys and post them to various locations online such as webpages and social media sites such as YouTube and Facebook. Since our main means of communicating with our target audience is social media sites we are adding a link to the survey on the Facebook page.

We are also embedding the survey into the video page of our website so as soon as viewers watch the music video, the survey is just underneath. This makes it more likely for us to receive feedback because it makes the survey and video accessible in one place.

We chose specific questions for the survey so that we could analyse the content of our music video as well as how well we executed and implemented each aspect of our music video. The areas we wanted to evaluate are:

- Understanding of the narrative of the music video

- The quality of the special effects (Green screen)

- The quality of the lip syncing

- Choice of music

- Attraction to the target audience
